What an incredible place! The service was great, the food was delicious, and our desert was on the house because we were celebrating our anniversary. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this place.

I recently visited Legend's Restaurant, and it was nothing short of magical. The live piano performance created an enchanting atmosphere, with the pianist masterfully transitioning from soothing classics to lively jazz pieces. It added a touch of elegance that elevated the entire dining experience. As for the food, it was equally impressive. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. We went to Legend’s to celebrate our anniversary, and they did not disappoint. When we reserved the table, they noted it was our anniversary and put a white tablecloth down JUST at our table. We used to go there regularly when we lived by campus but it got off our radar. Erin our server was precious and gave good recommendations, and I was so pleased they still have a piano player even on a random Tuesday night .. I had the blue cheese balsamic steak, cooked perfectly and was SO tender (wedge salad preceded, I had forgotten about the bacon bits so yummy) . Jim had the crab cake topped tilapia, and it was flavorful and also cooked perfectly (so easy to overcook fish), and potato and pork soup, which he said was very rich and satisfying. I will say I couldn’t eat very much of my entree bc it was very rich, AND I tried not to eat my bread but it came out so fresh and that extra cold butter.....I couldn’t stop. I recommend going easy on that bread so you can enjoy the sour cream chive mashed potatoes. Amaretto chocolate cake for me (my favorite for decades) and cobbler for my husband, also perfect. Even though I was full I somehow managed a few bites of my cake. The idea that they put down a white tablecloth on a slow Tuesday night JUST FOR US is beyond special. We saw some friends from leadership Norman and had a deluge of memories from there. There is an upscale steak restaurant that we went to on the west side, and I’m not sure we will go back. Keep the Legend alive! So glad to put this restaurant back on our regular schedule.

Our reservation was at 5pm on a Wednesday and my husband and I were the only two diners in the restaurant until 6! It was very nice and quiet for us. Our server Kasey was so sweet and helpful. This was our first time ever going so we had a few questions and she helped us through it all. The building is really cute and reminds me of restaurants in Europe with the exposed brick and eclectic decor. I got their special drink, the blushing botanist and it was so good!!!! We also got the honey brussel sprouts and man, I just could not stop eating them. The house dressing is totally worth it! It was perfect on the garden salad (thank you for the suggestion Kasey!). I ordered the roasted duck and my husband ordered the lamb chops. Both dishes were amazing! I've been looking for a good restaurant that serves a good roast duck and I have finally found it! My husband loved the lamb and his mashed potatoes. Then for dessert I got the creme brulee and he got the rum Bundt cake. Both so delicious!! This was our first time coming here but it will NOT be our last time. The food and service are top notch and the price tag is affordable for what you get meaning we can go more often than once a year. I'm already trying to plan our next visit!

Their lamb chops are simply out of this world! Having enjoyed lamb chops across several Mediterranean countries, I never thought anything could top those experiences—but Legends Restaurant has truly raised the bar. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, with a beautiful sear that added the perfect touch of smokiness. The seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the natural richness of the meat without overpowering it. Every bite was a delight, and it’s clear that the chef is a master at their craft. My compliments to the chef Joe and Rebecca sparks! The ambiance of the restaurant is equally impressive—warm, elegant, and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both special occasions and casual outings. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful experience. If you’re a fan of lamb chops, trust me—this is THE place to be. I can’t recommend Legends Restaurant highly enough. It’s a true culinary gem that deserves every bit of praise!

Their service was excellent. Great wine selection. Lots of by the glass option as well. The steaks were well prepared. Make sure you save room for dessert.
